“I am so touched by the discovery of the truth in the Noble Qur’an!
This Noble Qur’an describes the universe from the highest point therein.
As we have seen, it could not have come from a human source. After reading the Noble Qur’an, I have come to know my future. I will plan my research upon this comprehensive outlook.” [Professor Youchidi Couzan]
This is nature. O you who are moving on earth, stop here and let me show you the superb creation of the Almighty Creator.
The land around you and the heavens do offer great signs that point to His existence and magnificent creation.
if we ponder the creation of the heavens and the earth, we see signs of Allah, the Originator of the universe, Who says about Himself: {The Originator of the heavens and earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.} [Surat al-Baqarah: 117]
Ibn Kathīr (may Allah have mercy upon him) said: “He is the Originator, Creator, and Innovator of the heavens and the earth in an unprecedented manner.”
Shaykh Al-Sa‘di (may Allah have mercy upon him) said: “{The Originator of the heavens and the earth} is their Creator and Innovator in a way of utmost beauty, perfection, and excellence.”
Since He is like this, then it is not proper to ascribe to Him anything in the heavens or the earth as His son, far Exalted be He far above that. In fact, all that exists therein is created and brought to existence by Him and is submissive to Him and subject to His authority. In the Qur’an, He says: {They say, “Allah has taken a son.” Glory be to Him! Rather, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and earth – all are devoutly obedient to Him. The Originator of the heavens and earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is.} [Surat al-Baqarah: 116-117]
If it is established that everything in the heavens and the earth was created and originated by Him, it follows then that they are all among His servants and part of His dominion; so, it is impossible for Him to have a son.
If this is the case, then it is incumbent upon the people to comply with His commands and prohibitions and not ascribe to Him a son or a wife.
Our Lord commands us to contemplate the universe and His magnificent creation. He says: {Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth and the alternation of the night and day are signs for people of understanding.} [Surat Ᾱl ‘Imrān: 190] The entire universe offers signs pointing to its Creator, the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing Lord and supporting belief in Him.
If created beings were lines to be read, you would read them and see that they clearly point to their Creator.
Through them, the Glorified King sends us messages that there is no true god but Allah, and that every creature, mute or speaking, leads to Him.
Bilāl (may Allah be pleased with him) once went to the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) to notify him of the Fajr prayer, and he found him lying down and weeping. He said: “O Messenger of Allah, why are you weeping whereas Allah forgave your past and future sins?”
He (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Woe to you, Bilāl! Why should I not weep while Allah has revealed this to me tonight: {Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth and the alternation of the night and day are signs for people of understanding.} [Surat Ᾱl ‘Imrān: 190]?” He recited the verses to the end of the Surah.
Then, he (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Woe to anyone who recites them and does not contemplate them!” [Narrated by Ibn Hibbān; Sahīh (authentic)]
The view of the heavens and what they contain - stars, planets, the sun, and the moon - and the earth and what it contains - the mountains, rivers, seas, animals, plants, inanimate objects, and living and dead beings - point to the Originator of the heavens and the earth. {Blessed is He Who placed in the sky constellations, and placed therein a radiant lamp and a luminous moon. It is He Who made the night and the day to follow each other so that everyone who wishes may reflect or become grateful.} [Surat al-Furqān: 61-62]
In a conference of the Muslim Youth, held in Riyadh in 1979, US Professor Palmer stood up when he heard the verse that says: {Are the disbelievers not aware that the heavens and earth were joined together and then We split them apart?...} [Surat al-Anbiyā’: 30] He remarked: “Yes, indeed, the universe was in its beginning a massive contiguous cloud of smoke and gas, and thereafter gradually transformed into millions and millions of stars filling the sky. This, by no means, can be attributed to a man who died 1400 years ago, for he did not possess telescopes or spacecrafts to help him discover these facts. So, the one who informed Muhammad of this must have been Allah.” Professor Palmer, then, declared his conversion to Islam at the end of the conference.
In the 8th medical conference held in Riyadh, 1404 AH, Professor Tejatat Tejasen, the head of Anatomy and Embryology section, Mai University, Thailand, stood up and said: “Since Prophet Muhammad could not read or write, then he must have been a messenger who brought this fact. This was given to him through revelation from a creator who knows everything. This creator must be Allah.
Therefore, I think it is high time to say: ‘I testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.’”
The name of Allah “Al-Badī‘” is of great significance; whoever uses it in supplication gets his supplication answered.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “The Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque while a man had prayed and was saying in supplication: ‘Allāhumma la ilāha illa ant Al-Mannān, Badī‘ as-samāwāt wa al-ard, yā Dhal-Jalāl wa al-Ikrām (O Allah, there is no god but You, the Bestower of Favors, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, the Owner of majesty and honor)!’
Thereupon, the Prophet (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘Do you know that by which he supplicated Allah? He supplicated Allah by His greatest name by which when supplicated, He answers, and by which when asked, He gives.’” [Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi; Sahīh (authentic)]
O Allah, forgive us and bestow Your mercy upon us, O the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!
O the Originator of the heavens and the earth, forgive and pardon us and show mercy to us; indeed You are Able to do all things.
